**ROLLER DERBY RIVALRY: The Rematch, brings Brisbane’s toughest old-school showdown back to the track** Magandjin's roller derby scene turned up to Roller Derby Rivalry: No Mercy (July 4th) - 350+ in attendance and 2 teams of skaters pumped to hit the track, it was always going to be a battle. Now we are bringing The Rematch! On Saturday 19th of September, that energy returns to Superordinary in Hamilton when Roller Derby Rivalry: The Rematch brings one of the city's most iconic battles back into the spotlight, with the green-and-purple Misfits taking on the orange-and-blue Devotchkas in a bout built on history, pride and unfinished business. The Devotchkas took the first nail-biter of a game in July. Will we see them repeat? Or have the Misfits done their homework and are ready for the 'W'. A celebration of old-school alternative roller derby culture, this event promises a full night of hard-hitting full-contact action, live music, your good ol' BBQ, market stalls and a family-friendly atmosphere at Superordinary in Hamilton. The message at the centre of the night is simple: it's a rematch, and there can only be one winner! Look out for some of your favourite original skaters, plus some of the world’s top derby players mixing it with incredible fierce new talent. Celebrating their Brisbane Pride Queens Ball Award win as Sporting Group Of The Year, the Brisbane City Rollers are ready to showcase the incredible skills and values that are at the heart of their success. As Australia’s first open-gender roller derby league, BCR leads the pack for enthusiastically welcoming trans and gender-diverse athletes into their team and shared ethos of Courage, Commitment and Carnage.
